A few of my favourite photos taken so far this year.

10/02/2015 Greenfinch and Sparrow altercation.

06/04/2015 A red moon.

We will be away for a bit  Off to look at  WW1 battlefields in Northern France and Belgium, before spending a few days in Amsterdam.  Hopefully I will return with some interesting photos. See you all soon.

  6. A wonderful selection Diane. The raindrop with the butterfly is new to me. I missed it before. It's remarkable, like the butterfly is encapsulated in the drop. Have a great trip.

    1. Ann most of my photos are quite simply luck and I take a lot to get one I am happy with. When it comes to settings it is all beyond me! Hope that it is drier in the UK than it is here at the moment! Keep well Diane

  19. Beautiful pictures, Diane. I always spread a thick line of coffee grounds around the edges of my garden to keep out the snails and slugs. The caffeine does them in, but doesn't harm the plants.

    Have a wonderful trip.

    1. Thanks Marjie had a great trip, but now to catch up with all the gardening and washing!!! We have a coffee machine that uses pods so no coffee grounds sadly. We don't drink muck coffee anyway. Hope all well Diane

  20. Amazing photos, Diane! You're a true artist. My favourites are the first four, with number 4 being stunning, and 2 being possibly the best image I've seen from anyone this year!!

  29. Very beautiful, Diane. It's really amazing what soft stone can do. A sculptor friend let me play with some once years ago and
    it wasn't hard to make very delicate cuts. Boy though, I can imagine how time and just a bit of jostling would shake such stone loose. Thanks for the tour, as always!
