Yesterday we had a lovely day meeting Jean, her husband Nick and LuLu from A Very Grand Pressigny. We had organised a barbecue, but the weather was not quite as we would have liked. It was jerseys on and off all day, but at least it did not rain. (we really do need rain, but we certainly did not want it yesterday!). Jean and her husband are delightful people and we felt as if we had known them for years; a very easy going couple and Lulu was a pleasure to have around. She is a beautiful standard apricot poodle and is one of the best mannered dogs I have ever met.
Nick, Lulu, Jean and Nigel
Jean brought me the most amazing present, which she had made. I saw some beads on her blog A Box of Beads some time ago and I said how beautiful they were. They were the most beautiful colour green, and Jean kindly offered to make me a necklace. Not only did she make me a necklace but also matching earrings, so I felt very spoilt. They really are lovely and will go well with my green eyes. Also as Jean suggested, they are perfect for St Patrick's Day.
They are really quite lovely and so beautifully made.
This was one of our sunsets from a couple of days ago.
Glad you had a fun day with friends! That sunset is truly one of the most beautiful I have ever seen!

Your present is stunning, the colours alone are so beautiful and deep. But made it into such gorgeous jewellery only adds to their beauty. Green is now one of my favourite colours, but as a child I hated it as everyone told me I should wear it!!! Red hair and green eyes, green is the obvious choice. Now my hair is fading I like to bring out the colour of my eyes, so yes, I now love green. Diane
