Following the interest shown in Blog 48, here are the pictures I have from the 9 remaining plates, of the original set of 10. All hand crafted in Zimbabwe many years ago. Click on the pictures for enlargements.
They are definitely unique and very attractive plates. I especially like the 4th one with the blue in her dress being so dazzling. Very nice and I'm sure you put them to use often.
It matters little if they're collectible; the fact that you've had them for a while and they bring memories to your table is great! I love things like this.
Hi Lynda, I also doubt it, but we see quite a lot of craft work from Zim in the UK around Christmas time. Somebody must be making the effort to keep it going. Diane
