We have it in the UK, and there are several different kinds here in France. It is so quick and convenient for fruits that are low in pectin. A little more expensive than ordinary sugar, but it is so time saving. I did a search on the net and I could only find a place in Sweden that sells it! I make things like you all the time.. it is troublesome to have to make it, stop and write down the amounts... sort of makes you lose momentum but necessary when you are sharing with others who can't read your mind!
